THE LOST APOTHECARY stars an 18th century female apothecary in London who doles out poisons to a whisper network of women to kill the abusive men in their lives. She has 2 rules: the poison may not be used to harm other women, and she must preserve a full register of each patron’s transactions in her logbook. These women will go on to lead full lives and may be forgotten in time, but they won’t be forgotten by Nella, the apothecary.
